We could not be effective without our wonderful volunteers committed to supporting women & families and sharing the love of Christ with our community.

Volunteer opportunities include:

Event support at short-term events throughout the year

Material services (washing and sorting donations)

Supporting client advocates

Leadership opportunities for board and programs

Medical personnel are needed as we prepare to start begin offering medical services.

Additional ways you can serve include attending events and fundraisers, spreading the word about the center by sharing our social media posts and talking about us in person, and praying for the center's service to our community.

Client Advocate
A client advocate is not a counselor, but rather a trained individual equipped to reach out to clients with compassionate, practical, confidential support. An advocate is committed to serving women, partners, and families in any pregnancy or parenting situation; to encouraging parents spiritually, emotionally, and physically; and to facilitating healing for people who have experienced abortions.

We need advocates who volunteer regularly, but also those who would be willing to come in as the need arises (e.g. if the regular advocate is ill or out of town)
​
After completing the interview process, advocates are asked to commit to a three month training/probation period during two days each month.

Event Volunteer
Do you have a heart for service but can't make a long-term commitment right now? Events are critical to putting the GPRC's mission before the eyes of our supporters and the community at large. Helping at events can look like anything from flagging at street corners during the Walk for Life in May to serving salad at our Donor Dinner in November.
