About Goldendale PRC

Goldendale Pregnancy Resource Center has been serving the local community since 1988. We are supported by local individuals and businesses, and the prayers, time & financial donations of the various Christian faith communities of Klickitat county.  Goldendale PRC is committed to ministering the love of Christ to woman and families in any pregnancy or parenting situation, encouraging parents spiritually, emotionally, and physically, and to facilitating healing for women who have experienced an abortion.

Our services are all free, private, and confidential.  We care about you:  your health, your safety, and your future.

Services We Offer

  • Free pregnancy self-tests -- We provide a laboratory-quality self-test that can detect a pregnancy. (Most times as soon as seven days after conception.)

  • Peer counseling and personal support -- We specialize in increasing your resources and options. We will help you walk through your options as you decide what is best for you.

  • Earn While You Learn program -- This program allows you to earn a wide variety of items (like maternity & infant clothing and other necessities) while learning how to take even better care of yourself and your baby during your pregnancy and as you parent.

  • Post Abortion Sister's Support -- Support groups of women that have "been there and done that" and are looking for healing from the hurt they experienced as a result. No judging, just hope and healing.

The Goldendale Pregnancy Resource Center is a not-for-profit, 501(c)3, faith-based organization serving the community of Goldendale and Klickitat county, and is a member of CareNet (www.care-net.org). (CareNet recommends that member pregnancy resource centers not participate in sidewalk counseling with graphic images or protest at abortion clinics. Goldendale PRC board of directors, paid and volunteer staff  all adhere to that recommendation.)

Goldendale Pregnancy Resource Center is not a medical clinic, and does not provide birth control, offer referrals to abortion clinics or perform abortions. We are a pro-life ministry but will not condemn anyone that is making or has made a decision to have an abortion; we hope to help in the education and healing process.

Goldendale PRC is governed by a local board, overseen by an executive director, and supported by individuals, churches, and community organizations. We use no government funds.
