Our Purpose

Goldendale Pregnancy Resource Center is committed to serving women, partners, and families in any pregnancy or parenting situation; to encouraging parents spiritually, emotionally, and physically; and to facilitating healing for women who have experienced an abortion.

The GPRC has been serving the local community since 1988. We are supported by local individuals and businesses, and the prayers, time, and financial donations of the various Christian faith communities of Klickitat County.

Our services are all free, private, and confidential. We care about you: your health, your safety, and your future.

CareNet Commitment of Care and Competence

The Goldendale Pregnancy Resource Center is a not-for-profit, 501(c)3, faith-based organization serving the community of Goldendale and Klickitat county, and is a member of CareNet (www.care-net.org). (CareNet recommends that member pregnancy resource centers not participate in sidewalk counseling with graphic images or protest at abortion clinics. Goldendale PRC board of directors, paid staff, and volunteer staff all adhere to that recommendation.)

Goldendale Pregnancy Resource Center is not a medical clinic, and does not provide birth control, offer referrals to abortion clinics or perform abortions. We are a pro-life ministry but will not condemn anyone that is making or has made a decision to have an abortion; we hope to help in the education and healing process.

Goldendale PRC is governed by a local board, overseen by an executive director, and supported by individuals, churches, and community organizations. We use no government funds.
